“Every Single Person with Cancer Has pH Which is Too Acidic.”
Simple fact discovered by Noble Prize winner Dr. Otto Warburg. So the solution seems simple. Eat, drink and breath alkaline – in as many ways as humanly possible. Eating alkaline foods by consuming a highly alkaline diet and drinking alkaline will increase your health. Period. So, bottom line, set aside the donuts and wine – yep, sorry – and focus on foods rich in alkaline like spinach, avocado, lemons, & artichokes. There are some great lists of foods high in alkaline on our “Alkaline” Pinterest board. So much of what we think is ‘healthy eating’ is acidic – milk, turkey, eggs and cheese. One interesting fact from Livestrong.com – “It takes 20 parts of alkalinity to neutralize one part of acidity.” So if you have a cup of coffee in the morning you better be eating a lot of kale and veggies the rest of the day.
I read Dr. Warburg’s article about “The Root Cause of Cancer” . While I didn’t understand all of it – I got the gist. Some of Dr. Warburg’s statements are pretty clear. Our environment, what we eat, drink and breath, may be killing us.
“Cancerous Tissues are Acidic, Whereas Healthy Tissues are Alkaline.”
“All normal cells have an absolute requirement for oxygen, but cancer cells can live without oxygen – a rule without exception. “Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous.” Dr. Warburg has made it clear that the root cause of cancer is oxygen deficiency, which creates an acidic state in the human body. Dr Warburg also discovered that cancer cells are anaerobic (do not breathe oxygen) and cannot survive in the presence of high levels of oxygen, as found in an alkaline state.
In his work The Metabolism of Tumors, Warburg demonstrated that all forms of cancer are characterized by two basic conditions: acidosis and hypoxia (lack of oxygen). Eating Alkaline Foods and an Alkaline Diet Could Save Your Life
The largest study ever conducted on the reasons why people live to be 100 is known as the Okinawa Centenarian Project. This study reveals that the longest living people on earth drink alkaline water and eat alkaline foods. The people of Okinawa Japan regularly live to be 100. The water they drink has a pH of 10 – making it alkaline water. Longevity is one of the reported benefits of of healthy lifestyle choices like alkaline water that is currently being studied by scientists in the ongoing Centenarian Project.
We don’t have control over many things in our life. Our environment being one of them. The air we breath everyday has an adverse effect on our bodies. Pollution and toxins in the air and water we drink are slowly chipping away at our health. The fast food we consume, coffee and wine we drink and the air we breath, make it particularly difficult to stay alkaline. We can however, increase the levels of alkaline we consume in our diet and water. It’s so easy to find high alkaline recipes online, as well as detox drinks. I drink apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, swish and spit coconut oil in the morning to remove toxins. I am giving it my best shot. I do still have a soda and burger from time to time. But I figure at least knowing the pros and cons of an alkaline pH vs an acidic one are a good start.
