Easily Explained
The AquaBrick™ Water Filtration System uses the DuraFlo™ Water Filter - certified to remove:
- Bacteria, cryptosporidium and giarda for up to 700 gallons
- Virus for up to 550 gallons
- Chlorine and copper from swimming pool water for up to 500 gallons
Sagan Filtered Water Bottles use The Journey™ Water Filter which is certified to remove:
- Bacteria, cryptosporidium and giarda, and virus for up to 250 gallons
These water filter test results meet or exceed established EPA water quality standards for the removal of:
- 99.9999% of Bacteria
- 99.99% of Virus
- 99.9% Cryptosporidium / Giardia
These water filter test results meet or exceed established NSF water quality standards for the removal of:
- 61.2 % Chlorine (at 500 gallons) – NSF Standard 42 requires water filters to remove chlorine by 50%.
- 44.3 % Copper (at 500 gallons) – NSF Standard 53 requires water filters to remove copper by 43%
